Manisha Koirala is passe and Payal Ruhatagi is in. Yes, she is the flavor of the month for those who go for movies not for just entertainment but also for some titillation. Payal is the next link of the chain that has suddenly cropped up on the Indian screen post success of films like Raaz, Murder and many others.

There is just one formul a in these kind of films and that is plenty of skin show, lots of striptease and if one can add a story too, it works like wonders, at least in small centers.

Director T.L.V Prasad has banked on this only in his film Tauba Tauba that is the most talked about film among the four films released today across India despite it being a shraaddh period, a time when big films stay away from the box office.

It gives ample opportunities for those small filmmakers who otherwise would have found it very tough to sustain the pressures of people. The connoisseurs of cinema may not like Tauba Tauba but it can be a 'visual' delight for those who find pleasure in peeping on to porn websites in the late hours of night in discreet.

Aimed purely at chavanni class viewers, Tauba Tauba also brings yet another s-e-x patakha to Bollywood in shape of Payal Ruhatagi and the plus point about her is that she act too, a rare among these bombshells.

She is the only selling material in the film and though film does takes an altogether different turn post interval but even then the focus remains at Payal only.

As far as the story of the film is concerned, it takes off from where Shashi Lal Nayar started in Ek Choti Si Love Story. Here Payal plays the teasing girl. Payal is Payal, the lonely neighbor of Mr. Shan Baugh (Ayub Khan) who is a millionaire and has a son Sunny (Amin Gazi) studying in a boarding school.

Sunny is more 'bright' that his other classmates and he is a specialist in peeping in through holes in doors. He has a friend in Lokesh and together they eye on their teacher too.

S-e-x has started crawling in their minds but this sight seeing comes to an end when the school is closed for vacations. Sunny is back at home and has nothing to entertain him.

He logs on to Internet where Porn sites are his favorite destination. Mr. Shan baug has an aide Rocky (Rocky Sandhu) who is desperate to get money to pay back his loan that he has taken from some goons to make a film.

Rocky who keeps an eye on Sunny one day finds about fascination of Sunny for s-e-x. He introduces Sunny to Payal. Sunny is bewitched by her beauty and his luck strikes when he finds himself in Payal's bed.

But, the happy timing has a tragic end as he finds Payal dead in the bed in the morning. Rocky comes to help and they both bury the body. But, soon Sunny starts getting threatening calls and he gets blackmailed for millions.

Then one day Sunny finds out that he has been trapped and Payal is not at all dead. The love factor strikes this time in favor of Sunny and he sets about to find out the real culprit and make him pay for his crimes.

Director T.L.V Prasad may have not thought about the capabilities of his cast for the film in the beginning when he had started the film. His main focus in the film seems to be for more and more skin show and he has it full with so many beautiful girls around.

But, little if he had though about the skills of Payal Ruhatagi and Amin Gazi, the result could have been totally different. Payal Ruhatagi does look s-e-xy, seductive and sensuous for her role.

She takes the role as a challenge and brings in a lot of heat on the screen. She tries to oomph and make people sigh for more. She fits the role like T, but all this cannot attract the main audience to cinema theatres at all.

Her postures are more on the line of a seductress that of a common girl. There could have been more emphasis on to why she does all this to Sunny. Vikas Kalantri portion could have been utilized more to give the story an authentic touch.

Even the plot points of the films are not weaved properly. The climax of the film soon after the interval and once very thing is out and open in front of the eyes of viewers there is little interest left in the film.

All said and done, Tauba Tauba does titillate the viewers but it has less to hold the interest of the people for a long. Skin shows can only add to the contents of a film but a film cannot run solely on this.

Among performers as said earlier, Payal comes out as a winner both as a s-e-x bomb and as an actress. She can see some good gray roles coming in her lap in coming days.

Her performance is better that what was expected from her. People in Bollywood can take note; here is another vamp in making. Amin Gazi shows maturity in his adolescent role and he matches with nitty-gritty's required of him.

Other, actors have not been utilized fully and that makes film go imbalance in its approach. The take off point of the film is wonderful and had it grown on the same tempo, it would have been a marvelous adult film to watch.

The poor publicity and fewer theatres also mar prospects of the film in metros. But, even then many will love to watch Payal and that will probably make producers feel happy, as it will not be a loser then.
